Mind’s Eye Imagery: Cinematic Art Beyond Reality

Mind’s Eye Imagery is my fusion of cinematic storytelling, realism, fantasy, surrealism and imagination—original artwork built around scenes that couldn't exist, but are rendered with enough detail and conviction to make you wonder: What if they could?

There are no rules tying this collection to a particular place, period or genre. A seemingly ordinary 1950s diner can sit beneath an impossible city in the sky. A reflection can reveal something that isn't there. A peaceful Florida landscape can hide inhabitants you weren't expecting. Dragons can soar above forgotten kingdoms, and a familiar viewpoint can suddenly become a very uncomfortable place to stand.

The styles change because the stories demand it.

Some pieces are beautiful. Others are unsettling. Some contain humor, fantasy or wonder. Others are designed around a visual contradiction that may take a second look to fully understand. Photorealistic detail can share the same image with something completely impossible, allowing the familiar and fantastic to exist side by side.

What connects them is the idea that every image should suggest a story larger than the moment you're seeing.

Who is the figure in the reflection? Why is that city there? What's waiting beyond the edge? Is the creature dangerous—or simply watching? What happened immediately before this scene, and what happens when the moment ends?

Those questions are intentional. The image provides the scene. Your imagination gets to finish the story.
