Wally Katchoo is thirty, socially anxious, and held together by sarcasm, microwaved dinners, and a dog with criminal gas.

At work, his best friend treats Wally’s misery like a hobby. His mom treats his love life like a church fundraiser. And just when Wally decides he should aim for “safe” and finally ask out the coworker he’s been orbiting, in walks Vanessa Sinclair. Confident, sharp, traffic-stopping attractive, and completely unbothered by Wally’s awkward flailing… which somehow makes her the bigger threat.
